I guess this is where I brag about myself and all my successes. This is where I try to convince you why I should be your realtor and dazzle you with impressive stacks of my sales numbers. But I don’t have that to show you - yet. I am a newly licensed realtor with the Curtis Real Estate Company. But that doesn’t mean I’m not qualified to buy and sell real estate. Let me explain.

I know property.

As a Civil Engineer in the Air Force for more than ten years, I’ve had experience building, renovating, or fixing just about every type of property there is. While in the military, I obtained my Associate's Degree in Construction Management. As a result, I can spot a property that’s a good value. And when I know what’s on your wish list, I will use this insight to find a great match for you.

I know Annapolis, MD

I know the city and the energy it has to offer. It’s the people of Annapolis that make this town tick. Of course, it’s timeless charm and close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay doesn’t hurt, either. I moved to the East Coast from Iowa when I joined the military and was assigned to Joint Base Andrews. I moved to Annapolis about five years ago and fell in love with it. This is my home now, and I’m completely invested in being an active part of the community. I have made hundreds of new friends and business contacts since moving here. I’m a networking machine.

I make things happen.

I get up every morning around 4 a.m. and head to the gym. I was a skinny kid, so I learned how to build the body I wanted. Not only do I work to maintain my ideal body, but I was a personal fitness trainer in a prior life. And I still help others set and meet their goals – when I have time! I set high expectations in all things I do. It’s a gift (and sometimes a curse) - but that’s the mode I thrive in best.

I’m a good guy.

No one buys something from someone because they're a "nice guy." But, when I enter into a business arrangement with someone, I do like to know what kind of person I’m dealing with. Unless a mutual friend referred you to me, you really have no way of knowing what I’m capable of. I can write a lengthy self-described, glowing report about myself here. But ultimately, it’s all subjective. That said, I am confident that if you were to contact anyone who knows me or has worked with me, you’d get the same answer. I’m a compassionate person with integrity. I’m someone they can count on… and I have a good head for business.

It may help you to know that I take pride in being a humanitarian. I was a teenager when hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans. I volunteered to help rebuild Ward 9. The devastation was beyond description; the need overwhelming. It really had an effect on me.

I was deployed five times while in the Air Force. I always tried to leave things a little better than I found them. I built a 911 tribute on the base in the UAE. I had my family send kids' clothes to me when I was in Africa, and I distributed them to poor village kids. When I was in Iraq, I taught local villagers how to build and make repairs to their lodging. Despite the language barrier, I developed a friendship with one of the villagers who was getting married. I bought him a goat as a wedding present before I left.
